BIG BOB

Hi, as you already know...my name is Big Bob! I was given the name Big Bob by my Dad. I think I am called Big Bob because I am bigger than the rest of my brothers & sisters. Apparently, I enjoy snacking a lot, and that really is where I got that name from. Well, this morning, I had a treat, while the other's stayed in the car. I was able to visit Bob Evans Restaurant with Mom & Dad. Everyone loved our Ladybug car, and they even thought that I was kind of cute too!

Even one of the waitresses wanted a picture of our

ladybug car, because like I said...it sure is cute!

Here are those yummy blueberry crepes and

coffee that we had for mid morning snack!

When the waitress brought the food to our table, I started crawling over to Mommy's plate, so Mommy picked me up, and said that she will feed me - Yippee!!!

After sharing those blueberry crepes with Mom, I think that I started to look more like a blueberry myself...that's what Mom's friend said about my picture on Facebook. I guess when I get home from vacation, that I will need to eat salad again.

Well, I must go now...I really can't steal the show here!!! Good night!

Meet Mr & Mrs Ladybug's children who are also on vacation this year. On the left, you have the twins...Dot & Spot. Then behind the twins is Glitterbug. To the right of Glitterbug is Wiggles, then Happy, then Big Bob. On Happy's lap is Sleepy, and in front of Sleepy is Moody.

So far along the journey, these little bugs have all been well behaved, except for today, when they saw the Dairy Queen sign that said Scream til Daddy Stops the Car! All of the ladybug children started chanting, "WE WANT ICECREAM...WE WANT ICECREAM" So...Dad was a good Dad, and he took us all to DQ! Wiggles was able to go inside with Mom to get the icecream today. EXCITEMENT IN THE LADYBUG HOUSE

Everyone in the Ladybug house are all excited about the trip we are going to be taking in just 2 more sleeps. You see...our ladybug children count sleeps when they are waiting for a grand event to happen. Our trip is a grand event; however, Christmas is the biggest event, and the children usually start counting sleeps the day after Christmas....for the next Christmas!

Mrs Ladybug, aka Mom, has done the shopping tonight for those in the family who are staying home. She also bought lots of healthy snacks for the long drive for the ladybug children and Mom & I. Mom does not want her family to eat poorly just because they are on vacation. Hmmm...wonder what healthy goodies she has bought for us. Mom has also told us that we will need to drink lots of water, as it is much better for all of us, rather than drinking pop. I must get to sleep now....I still work tomorrow.

8 more sleeps, and Mr & Mrs Ladybug will be starting their trip to New Jersey with the Ladybug Car. Mr & Mrs Ladybug are both needing a vacation away from home, and are sooooo looking forward to this journey together.

Ladybug is going on it's longest trip so far. She will be taking us approximately 1245 miles each way. She has been serviced, and is ready to go. Last week she got "hitched", and next Friday she will get all washed up and cleaned for her trip on the road. She needs to look good, as she may meet another Ladybug on the road...and she really needs to look her best!

Ladybug's children will be coming along for the ride. She has several little ones, who love to ride on the dash. They really love to be in front, so that they too can experience the journey. Ladybug will be sporting her new hitch and trailer. She admits that she can get lost on the roads, so Garmin has joined our family, and plans to guide the way for her.

Well, tomorrow, there are a lot of things that Mr & Mrs Ladybug must get done, so there may only be another blog report next week sometime. Besides the blog, there will also be photos uploaded here....so everyone....we hope you will enjoy this journey with us thru this blog!

We were given the nicknames Mr & Mrs Ladybug because of our Smart Car that looks like a ladybug! It is always interesting to see the look of surprise, when other people notice our Ladybug. Many people have asked to take a picture of our car to show their friends. We thought...what a better way to share our trip with our friends, than to start a blog about our daily adventures!
